With the rise of ransomware, data breaches, and AI-driven cyberattacks, libraries must proactively safeguard their digital infrastructure, protect the privacy of patrons, and ensure staff are cyber-aware. Participants will review best practices for developing a cybersecurity strategy that protects library resources, maintains patron trust, and complies with legal obligations such as the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA).
